KAM - A common code Keep Alive Memory. It will show up anytime there is a chip or you disconnect your batteries. It's a soft code and will not affect performance. A programmer or scan tool can clear all codes.

If you are saying that someone has flashed a program on your PCM then a dealer can reprogram the PCM to the newest flash for your truck.

HA! Fat chance!
They will charge you their minimum labor charge even if it only takes 10 minutes. I would forgo the CPS unless you know that your CPS is bad. There have been performance issues on SOME trucks with the new CPS. If anything, buy a new one at the counter and keep it in the toolbox as a spare so if your CPS ever dies.
