7.3 P1316 DTC

Fellas,

I have a 2001 F350 that I'm workin on and it started out with a p1316 Ignition Diagnostic monitor code is detected code. it would randomly just kinda studder and stuff. well yesterday it finally got to where it wouldnt run at all. so i Scanned it today and its got 3 P0605 powertrain control module read only memory failure, and P1294 High side open bank 2, P1670which is a no EF signal code for the idm to PCM. with what experience I have i think its a PCM failure plus from what i have read but I want to make sure before i go and replace a 400 dollar PCM. Any input would be great.
Thanks

Drew

scuffy,

I did like you said and unhooked the wire harness from under the valve cover. that got rid of the p1294 now the only code im dealing with is the p0605. and the truck will still not start. from what i have read on that code is that it either a pcm failure or a pcm with the wrong flash this truck has not been flashed in like 5 years so i dont see it having the wrong flash. with that said if the PCM is out like that will it not allow the truck to run???
Thanks fellas,
Drew
