Starting Troubles
I have a 2001 7.3. When I go to start it in the morning it is not wanting to start. I have a remote start prestige alarm. When I turn the key over it gives a clicking sound coming from the column between the dash and steeringwheel. Almost like a bad ground. I have checked the grounds for the alarm and they seem fine. It will spin over but not start if I hear the clicking. Once I get it started for the first time it starts normally for the most part through out the day. I might get 1 or 2 times that it does it later in the day but it starts faster than it does first thing in the morning. I am thinking it might be the alarm but dont want to put a new one in if I dont have to. Does any one have any ideas or any similar experiences?
