Turbine fins damaged
Does my turbine fins look f'ed up to anyone else!
Is it safe to drive untill I get a new wheel?

What causes this. I have never ran it without a filter and keep the tubes clean, just havent done it in over a year because of deployment!

I thought it was caused by particles getting sucked through the filter...

Dude any little particle that enters the turbo when it is spinning at over 30k revs, as high as 120k, can cause a major problem. But as it was said before, good excuse to buy upgrades.

not to be smart in any way, but find a used turbo and get the inpeller off of it, if funds are tight. But get a bigger compressor housing while you are doing it. Not too expensive of an upgrade.

I cant find one for an early '99. I know my truck came with one stock. I always see them on EBAY but none right now!
