Almost died when put into park

i have been having a problem with my truck running rich and running like crap i have replaced the ICP and the the oil pressure sensor. so i replaced the o-rings on the injet and ran good for a few days and put the chip back on and went back to what it was doing before then i got a p1211 code so i replaced the IPR and worked good for a day or two and put the chip back on and started running rich again so i put it back to stock and now when i start up it puffs white smoke. then today i went and pick up something and left the truck running and got back in and put it in drive the truck almost died and the check engine light came on and i'm guessing the water in fuel light ( the gas light with 3 drops next to it) but went out and i don't have a scanner to check the data log please help

Scan for codes, replace the chip, or get it checked/fixed. Until you get a scantool you can check connections and grounds. It's free except for some time on your part.

Have you drained the bowl? Does it run fine without the chip? It sounds like either the chip is messed up or the truck isnt able to keep up with the demands of the chip. May be youre fuel pump is craping out on you.

ya i drained the bowl the other day and it runes ok but i feel shake and i small fuel out the ext with the chip off and with the chip on it black smokes like crazy when i start giving it fuel

That sounds like mabe the MAP.
