Exclamation Wipers Kill 7.3L

I am new to diesels and this forum, but I really like both!
I have had this truck for about 10,000 miles it has 146,000 on it. Last Saturday my 7.3L refused to start. It was warm and had been stopped for 45 minutes. I went back Sunday morning it cranked right up and ran home, (about 30 miles) missed a few times and then killed in the driveway. But started right up. Put it on a code reader and it showed CPM failure and CPM intermittent. Replaced the CPM, ran fine for 1 day then started missing again (it was raining). I have since discovered that if the intemittent wipers are on the engine will miss and sometimes kill completely. It is no longer raining, I can run fine all day long and turn on the intemittent wipers and bang she misses almost instatnly. It runs fine with the wipers in low or high! Anyone have any ideas?
