rattling in motor

When driving at lets say 45 all sounds tight under the hood...yet when givin alittle more fuel not much just slightly more theres a rattling noise..when the pressure is took off the pedal the motor sounds tight again..it sounds like the valves..If it is the valves how can I adjust them? What do you think

Ford Diesel Noise????? I know(I think) what you are referring to. Just enuff throttle to make it happen but not enuff to change the speed of the truck. Ihope its normal cause I have had it since day 1.
