hard start after sitting
New to site. I have a 99 F350 6 speed manual that is hard to start after sitting a day or longer. The motor is stock with a fresh rebuild about three thousand miles ago. I have new batteries, new high torque starter, new gp relay, new glow plugs, rotella synthetic oil, no fuel leaks anywhere.
The vehicle runs excellent and I have started it at 11 degrees without plugging in. The only problem I have is if sets more than one day or so. I also checked the oil level in the HPOP after sitting and it is full. Also checked fuel bowl and it is full after sitting and pumps work fine. If anyone can tell something I may have missed it sure would be appreciated. The mechnanics at the local ford garage cant figure it out either. They ran several tests and everything checks ok. Thanks for any information. |

The OP said pumps work fine but I don't know what that means exactly. What about HPOP pressure?
