need advice on codes

my truck's been throwin some codes for a while now. 238, 478, 1211, and 1247.
Isn't 238 over boost?
not sure why 478
1211 is normal for a chip, I think.
1247 is something to do with boost but not sure.

478 could be cause I deleted my ebpv and cut out the butterfly valve. or is it more of an issue, should I ignore it like the 1211? or is there something else?

Anybody got some advice for me?
Thanks

Are you getting these codes with the TW? Is your trans. shifting ok? I've been having the problem with the same codes with my TW. Here's what your codes break down to:
P1247-turbo boost pressure low.
P0478-exhaust press CTRL valve high
P0238-turbocharger boost sensor A ckt hi
I'm not reading these from a book, these are THE exact codes I have. I contacted Tony & he's gonna help me with my chip. The only difference is my truck was shifting poorly, that's why I asked if your's was. Take the chip out, clear the codes, & take it out for a good drive. Go up as many hills & put it under a decent load when you can. Monitor how your rig shifts too, under normal acceleration & getting up to highway speeds. Take it home & see what you get for codes. If the truck runs better without the TW, call Tony or email TDP. There cool as hell & will help you out.

P.s.- you'll get the P1211 with the street or X setting with the TW. It's normal.

Thanks for the reply RadarRider. I think I will take the chip out and do like ya say. I have been having the feeling lately that the TW isn't performing like it should. I feel like there just hasn't been the zip it used to have. The tranny hasn't been shifting too hard, but it does slam into one of the gears when I get on it, I just thought that was the way it is. It slams hard when towing. I'm wondering too if I need to do the exhaust pressure ctrl valve cleaning or replace the sensor and clean the tube out. My fuel milage has gone to pot lately. Only getting between 10 and 14. I probably need a boost sensor too, but I don't know why I would get a boost low code. confused on that one. Let me know what you find out with Tony and your codes. I'll have to give him a call. Nice thing about Tony is I know he'll fix it if he can.

Not a problem. That's another thing I had problems with: my performance deteriorating. It had gotten to a point too, where my MPGs were starting to tumble. From what I've been reading from other TW owners, our chips should be helping our rigs scream with good shift tunes daily. I had also cleaned out my EBP sensor & tube because it was full of soot & giving me a P0478 code. It turned out my EBP sensor was bad anyway, so I replaced it. I wouldn't replace your boost sensor until you get your TW straightened out. When you get your chip problem fixed, put in the new chip & monitor your performance with your gauges & code reader. I will definitely keep you posted on my issues & I hope everything works out for ye!
