oil blow by into exhaust.

I have a 2000 350 7.3 and noticed there was oil in the bottom of the tailpipe. just put a new mbrp 5in stainless exhaust, it has afe intake but nothing other than that. I have asked around some but trying to get an idea of what the problem is and how to check it.

Double check your turbo for shaft play. Oil in the exhaust is usually the sign of a dying turbo. Its probably worth pulling the turbo and checking the exhaust housing for oil. A rebuild kit isn't very expensive and its easy to do. especially if you haven't had the wheel contact the housing yet. You may be lucky.

only place for oil to enter the exhaust. unless its dumping from an exhaust port and being pushed up through the up-pipes

I've heard if it has a bad seal it will allow oil to be forced into the exhaust, and intercooler tubes.

oil in the IC is from your stock intake set-up...normal for oil to be there, but not normal for oil to be in exhaust tubing.
