High pitched whine

Not sure where this is going to end up but after searching I did not find much like what I am experiencing. I have an 01 7.3 exursion, on occasion (with no rhyme or reason) I'll get a high pitched whine when I take off, it only happens in first gear and never happens back to back. Any ideas where to start?

Ok doing something different today, the whistle happens through the first acceleration after startup only. I have a video that I'll post when I get in front of a real computer.

Im not a 7.3 expert. BUT sounds like a boost leak or even just normal turbo whistle.

ya, you can hear the whistle, under the whine. I'd start check'n for soot, loose clamps...if you dont have a set of upgraded cac boots, nows a good time...riffraff has them. them plenum stock boots suck and the clamps they use. get yourself a set of T-clamps and be done along with new boots. To really make a good seal, get the plenum inserts as well...same place.
