01 turbo surge/flutter

I had what I thought was turbo surge from my truck so I got a ww2, put it on and it still does it. ill post a video of it, but the mods are cold air intake, 6pos chip, ww2. any help is appreciated

Yeah, itll hold boost and then slowly drop off when it does this

That's not what flutter "looks" like though.

You'd see the needle rapidly fluctuate, up & down, maybe 10lbs. Something else is going on...

Is it like it reaches a certain pressure and isn't able to go past that? What is the highest pressure you see?

If i get on it itll go to 25-30, i see between 5-10 at normal speed. It does it when it shifts

It sounds similar, it happens in low boost or high boost when shifting
