Cutting Off

Now that I have confirmed that my cutting off issue has to do with running the intermittent wipers (front or rear Excursion), where should I start looking for the needle in the proverbial haystack? Thanks to other posts which helped me confirm that the problem was not wet conditions. Running the rear wiper or front on intermittent will cause the engine to shut off. It always restarts easily, but is still a pain. If I am at speed, when it restarts from momentum, it feels like I got rear ended. I am sure the u joints take a beating. Is there a location diagram for the ground points? Or do I just install a new connection from engine to body? Thanks.
