Voltage. Not starting and not running. HELP!

I've changed both batteries terminals checked all grounds and checked all connections. Still having the battery light flickar every now and then. Volts are showing fine on the gauge but yet still truck won't start and most of the time will not idle in park and then wont start again.

Anyone have any ideas?? I'm lost. And for what I do with it I can't have it doing this.

Make sure the batteries are OK, charge them up fully and have them individually Load Tested at a High Rate (NOT the 100A draw the Parts Stores use on 4cly, you want 250/300A for our Big batteries)

Check the Alt connections too.

Don't rely on the gauge on the dash, use a multi-meter and read the exact voltage from the outlet in the cab (cig ltr) Before, During & After you crank it. You should see Over 12v at first (a little), Over 9.5v during, Over 13v if it runs (it has to run for a couple of mins to allow the GPs to cycle off before you'll read that though)

I had both batteries charged and loaded tested at a battery dealer and they are good. They lasted two days. Alternator decided it was time to quit and dropped everything. So time for a new one lol
