2002 f350 vibration at 1850 rpm

I have started noticing a slight vibration that I can feel through the gas pedal and slightly in the steering wheel when my truck gets to about 1850 rpm (no matter what speed I'm going). It's not bad, just noticeable. I just went on a road trip and when I set the cruise control with the motor at about 1900 rpm I burned almost a quarter tank of diesel in 45 miles. I backed off the speed and set it about 1700 rpm and went the next 100 miles and hardly used any fuel. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks
