Knocking sound from a 99 7.3

I just bought this truck a month ago and I have put 1,500 miles on it already, I drive 80miles round trip to work every day two days ago I was filling it up and when I started it I noticed a knocking sound and it had progressively gotten worse. Since it is so cold here (-15) I changed the fuel filter and it is parked in my shop which it heated. I need some help diagnosing the problem, I think it could either be a bent push rod, rod bearings or valves, if I can figure out how to post a video or sound clip on here I will do so as soon as possible.

Run some good fuel cleaner, maybe even change the oil with known good oil. They are HEUI motors, so oil matters.

If that doesn't work, you'll need monitoring software to do tests.
