sounds like a wire pinched. Take your valve cover off, crank the truck & see if it still runs ruff

Locks as in stops cranking? Like it seizes up?

I'm no expert but it Sounds like injector oil leaking into the cylinder of the injector he replaced. Better take it back before you have big problems.

Ya. Sounds like the mech ruined an oring while trying to put the new injector in and is loosing hpop pressure and filling that cylinder with oil. Could be bad internal O-rings on that injector too.

If there are damaged O-rings and fluid drains down in the cylinder it can cause serious problems.
