All dash lights on, all gauges move wont start

The title pretty much says it all. Except that right before, it was running really rough. Now it won't start at all. cranks fine, but makes a really hard noise while cranking. ( thats the only way I know to describe it) fuel, timing, I have no idea where to start.

First, what yr is your truck?

Second, what's important from the cluster is the WTS and the Tach. I'll assume the WTS in ON by your description, but do you see the Tach rise while cranking?

Next, this "hard noise" you hear,,, it's the Starter noise changing or an engine noise? A rattle? A bang? Like it's trying to start but can't keep going?

How about Fuel? Pump runs? Fuel refilling filter housing? Tank below 1/4? Look above the pass ft tire, you'll see a 3/8" metal tube, against the motor that ends there, it's the drain for the bowl (yellow lever you slide to the side). Get a cup, open the lever, drain the fuel bowl, look at the fuel, close the lever. Then, turn the key to the ON position (should hear the pump) for 15 secs. Drain the fuel bowl again, whaddya got?

Running "really rough"? Like this?

Check the ffuel heater/ipr fuse. Maybe a 25 or 30amp and I cant remember which number. Its in the fuse bank under the dash.
