Late 99 motor in a Early 99 Truck

Question for you guys!
What would I have to change, if anything to install a used late 99 engine in my early 99 truck? I have the charge tubes and such but not sure if I need the PCM and I was going to put my Injectors in, I know they are AB and AD differences but will the Injector module run them the same? Going to get everything ready to do the swap this weekend.

Was told that some injectors are bad in the late! What would be a good price for a late PCM the guy I bought the motor from had some guy offer him $200 I was not sure so did not buy it. I'll look into getting the late Injectors rebuilt. Thank you for the quick responce!

Get the late 99 injectors rebuilt by rosewood. Run a late 99 pcm and get a 6 position custom tuned chip for the injectors

Early 99 Discussion - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum

Would i go with Dp?
No. From what ive read over the years and yhe dp tuned trucks ive rode in, it hasnt been impressive. Ive used a hanfull of fifferent tuners and i would suggest going with Tony Wildmans tunes through Totaldieselperformance.com (his site) or NoLimitTuneDesigns dynoproven.com does Beans tuning
