Question Fuel Filter Question.

I have a 2001 F250 with a 7.3 Power Stroke. I bought a fuel filter from Napa Auto parts. This filter came with two o rings, the tapered one and a round one. The filter I removed only had the tapered one. I couldn't find a place for the other one and I am concerned why it was included. Was I supposed to use the othe one?

Thanks for your help!

No, haven't had any leaks. However, I changeemine every 3000 miles, that might be why.

o ring

if you cant find the round o ring,on the filter you took out, you need to look in the filter bowl, sometimes it comes off down in there when you pull it out,
