19* cold start= a qt of oil on ground?

Went out to warm up truck(19* outside) noticed that it ran rougher than usual this cold. I jumped out and for some reason i looked behind me and saw a quart or more of oil pouring out from bottom of truck..WTF!! Didnt have time to really look at it but it looks like it is coming from above or around oil cooler and running down front end and oil filter. top side(valley) of engine looks dry. What could cause this much oil to leak in that short of time? thanks

it's probably the seals on the oil cooler... I did mine last year.

They tend to go in the winter time.

Low oil can = Rough running and hard starts. Mine even 1 litre low causes a miss.

if it was your HPOP you would have oil all over the top of the engine, and your truck wouldn't run.

A big oil leak like that would be very easy to find... you said oil cooler area so that's what I suggested, it's one of the most common oil leaks.
