Changed glow plugs now has a bad noise!

Changed glow plugs on the drivers side of a 7.3l and it started right up but rattled like hell. so i shut it of and the check light is on. Going to try and get the codes on it but and ideas on what might have happien?

When you pulled the GP's, oil that was sitting on the head drained into the cylinders and gave you a somewhat hydro locked symptom. Since it started it would've cleared out rather quickly. To be safe, get your ratchet n socket and turn the engine over by hand multiple times by the using the bolt that holds harmonic balancer on. Then start it up.
