03 E350 hard start

Having some issues getting started. its only 40 degrees in the morning and i get a crank no start issue. batteries are new 800 cca, cable connections are clean, new starter, glowplugs and relay just replaced. i have no engine codes.
If i put a booster pack on it then cycle the key it fires right up after a few revolutions. any ideas would be appreciated.

I would be thinking you have a problem with either getting the current you should TO the Starter OR the starter is requiring more current than it should and only the, added, booster pak makes enough available.

So, the cables and ends (ALL of them, Both sides & polarity) need to be scraped clean, greased, & tightened or replaced (if needed).

Then, if the batteries are all they are supposed to be (maybe have them Load Tested, at a high rate to be sure), I'd be thinking the Starter is just weak. Did it do this before you replaced it?

Have you monitored the Voltage as you're cranking? What is it dropping down to?

Well looking into it I found the voltage drops to 10 cranking. Ended up being my napa batteries that were only 6 months old. Not impressed there but it runs now thanks for the insight.
