another 7.3 not starting in cold weather

like many 7.3's mine is hard to start..it has 220k miles and I don't reckon the glow plugs have even been changed since I have had the truck for 7 years and I never have..well if it is below 50 outside and lately it has been down to 30 this week and it takes a good 5 cycles of the key right now to start when cold but if the motor is warm it starts as soon as the key is turned...I got pretty new batteries and it cranks plenty fast enough and it starts a whole lot better like almost perfect when plugged in but I now live in a place where I cant plug it in so im thinking glow plugs???any other thoughts are welcome and if that is prolly it then what brands and what all is recommended to change while im there???

Well it could just be the GPR so i would look into that first before digging into the GPs. Heres a good write up explaining how to test everything Troubleshooting GPR & GP's. If it ends up being bad you can do the stancor relay or this one. Its what i did and so far i like it.
