No power when cold

My 99 7.3 has been having issues for the past 6 months or so (more noticeably now that its getting cold). Any time the temperature dipped below the 50s at night my truck would start just fine but when I go to take off there is absolutely no power. I can get on the road and will barely make 10 mph for the first 1/4 mile and then all of a sudden it wake up and run like normal. I'm pretty sure its not my EBPV as I've ran AE on it and no abnormal exhaust back pressure. Also, good ICP pressure/duty cycle. Glow plugs are pretty new with a white/rogers big GPR. I'm pretty suspicious that its my injectors going/gone bad. I bought the truck with 260k and it has 280 now so I'm not sure if its ever had injectors or not. Looking for a confirmation or maybe some other ideas if there are any. Thanks in advance

Possibly your accelerator pedal position sensor or IPR
I had the same issue and those two helped - IPR a lot

did you rebuild your IPR or get a new one?

i think its your EBPV assy, doing its job...it "opens" and WHAM...you got power.

99.5 x-cab 7.3l, 6spd, 161k miles.....

Mine use to do that sometimes too. I just let her warm up a bit before I take off. She's cold natured, but runs great when warm.

looked into the EBPV. I've had it unplugged for a while and theres no tone difference in my exhaust. Also, back pressure readings coming from my Autoenginuity are not increasing.

Did the IPR solve your problem ? I have a new IPR and it still does it . I think its the EBPV, doing its job , above 50F , it does not do it.
