Did you try your old key. Check your fuses, oil, all the usuall stuff. My 2000 does not have a chip in the keys I dont think, so it should not be the key. Is it doing anything else?

Did not know that, if he got a key made and it does not have the chip, it may do something funky.

It would just sit there. Kind of like my mom putting vegitables infront of me. I would just sit there.

First things first. Do you have the old key? More improtantly do you have two good keys??? Yes, i have seen a few very rare instances of a key....actually it is the computers recognition of the key......losing its "memory". Next question i have for you is look at a few other things. See if the courtasy entry (interior lights when you open the door) work....if the door ajar light is on all the time.....and if the tach moves.... |
