Ok bought truck about a month or two ago ran perfect & very quiet. 235K miles.
I ran it wot a few times to test it out & make sure ever thing was fine.
Truck started clacking/tapping/ticking
I did the hutch mod, new fuel & air filters, 5-40 syn oil & uppipes "leak"
Got a lot quiter but a little clacking/tapping still there, sounds like drivers side, louder when accelerating, you can also hear it at idle but not so much on deccel.
Truck smokes sometimes at WOT "Haze or steady light stream of smoke Black/Grayish Blue."
Truck passed 60-90 WOT Hpop test 2900+ PSI
DTC: p0605 & p0284 Bad Pcm? & Injector 8 Fail?
CCT: Pass Most Times, Fail Sometimes Code: p0284
Perdel: Cyl #3 2.3%, Cyl #8 5.2%, All other cylinders 0%
Fast forward to the last few days:
Left Houston on my way to AZ
2002 F350 Mods are EBPV delete, truck had a chip once upon a time before I owned it & had a exaust brake or ebpv hooked up as a brake.
Was crusing at 75-80 mph going up a hill with a 4K trailer & check engine light came on then went of like 30-40 mins later.
Scan showed a low boost code & a injector press high/lower than desired.
Codes: P1247 & P1211
Data log shows:
at 75 - 80 mph, uphill with 4k trailer in OD 2300-2800 psi & duty cycle over 50% & Map sensor under 25 psi.
Engine coolant temp 300 "Dash gauge in middle & have not been seeing boil over", Oil temp 220, tranny temp 170.
Could PCM be setting of all these codes or real problem?
Also clacking/tapping/ticking got a lot louder.
If I slow to under 75mph while with the same trailer it sets no codes.
Gonna do a cold engine sensor check & get back with you guys, I also have a few vids to post latter of sounds.

I started the truck today & sound is there but louder after on highway cruising for a while, sounds like injector on drivers side & or additional exaust leak but can't find no soot on manifolds. "new uppipes".
Low boost & ICP lower/higher code if driven over 75mph pulling 4k trailer.
Duty cycle hits over 50% & hpop psi stays 2400-2800 psi driven over 75mph pulling 4k trailer.
Coolant temp sensor on A/E shows 302 degrees, Oil temp 220
When cold at start up Oil temp, Intake Air Temp & Tranny temp are all within 10 degrees of eachother but Coolant temp is at 200+.
So right now problem is that & high
Coolant sensor & actual low boost & high press oil code.
Possible PCM is causing the problem?
Could a bad injector cause icp psi duty cycle problems?
