Shooting my boost out the radiator cap

Hey, guys I have a odd one for you, I have a 02 with hybrid 238s and a 38r runs great, but last night, started to shoot coolant out the rad cap. So I checked to see if it had any oil or fuel. NONE. So I noticed if I drive nice, (under 10 psi) no problem, any higher boost and coolant shoots out. I figure I blew a head gasket, but before I do a teardown, thought I would see if anything else could be the cause. Like always I appreciate any help. I also have a line on a 97 obs with only 64k on the clock for dirt cheap. Mine has 280k on the and pmrs. Are the long blocks the same? Terry

sounds like a head gasket. increase in boost is an increase in cyl pressure.

That's what I figure too, but I don't know if I want to get into an upper teardown on a 02 with 280k and pmrs.

You could likely pickup a low k forged motor, stud it and put it in your truck, you'd be good for a long time then.
