Exclamation random high oil pressure

I have an 01 f250 7.3 powerstroke and it randomly one day the oil pressure almost doubled and won't go back down. It seems to be making it work harder the exhaust temps are higher. Just changed the oil and didnt help any.

Possibly IPR sticking closed or ICP failing and telling the IPR to close. Any oil on the ICP sensor?

Unplug the ICP to see if there may be oil inside it. It is located on the front of the engine head driver side right beside the fuel bowl. Looks like an old school Chevy water temp sensor.
