Idles but wont rev past 1200 rpm

Pulling camper engine stalls restart and step on pedle engine dies after letting it idle and veey gently i take off no more problems till i shut it off and start again. Got it home, new fuel filter no help. New cps no help so i looked at fuel filter again and figured out it was pumping air into filter so done hutch mod now got clear fuel. Truck will start and idle fine but step on the peddel and at 1500 rpm it shuts off. It will restart and idle but no accelerate. Put original cps and same thing. Could it still be the cps or do i look somewhere else.

is the camper still hooked to it? once on a 95 psd my electric brake controller went bad and every time i touched the brakes it would kill the engine. could possibly be valve cover harnesses. check the nut on the ipr behind the hpop.

Not chiped, its auto store cps thats why im thinking it could be bad but it and the original one give same results whice dont seem likely. Ill check the ipr nut in morning. Wouldn't a wireing harness problem be isoltated to some cylinders not all.

Thanks for youre replys. Th0m
