Truck dies when hot

The truck is an 02 f250. Up until a couple months ago the truck was my daily driver. It ran excellent until I let it sit for a couple months. Now every time I go to drive it it dies on me. It will run perfect for about half hour then just dies and will crank over just will not start. I leave it for a few hours and it starts back up right away. Any suggestions on what to look for?

A new CPS would be the first thing to look at, not too much $$$ and easy to do
