4 random, unconnected questions

OK, so my scangauge2 is throwing out some stuff I just wanna double check.

1. Timing. My SG2 says -64 which I assume is 64degrees below TDC. IS this correct?

2. Fuel loop. My SG2 says my truck is in open loop. Should it always be in open loop or should it go to closed sometimes?

3. My neighbor said that when He changed the CPS in his blazer, he had to have the computer reflashed before it would register on the computer. He agreed it was really weird, but he suggested I research and see if I wouldn't have to do that with my truck.

I have replaced the sensor with a grey MC sensor. I shouldn't have to flash the computer right?

4. Can you tell me what on my lift (see pic) is stock and what isn't?
Im assuming this would be an 8in lift as that's what it measures but for some reason Im second guessing myself. It also has helper springs.
