1999 Bending pushrods

Hi All,

I have a 1999 with 305,000 miles on it. A few weeks ago when I was driving it threw the #5 exhaust push rod. I opened it up found the rod replaced it and continued to drive it the next day.

I was noticing a ticking sound after the replaced the rod that I had no heard before. Before I got a chance to check it out the truck starts running rough and lots of smoke.

I pulled the covers again to find that now #5 input rod is bent. Lookig for some advice.

What I have done

Compression test
The #5 10psi lower then the rest
AE Scan gives me p1298, p0266, p0275

I picked up some new o rings for 2 injectors and thought of swapping 5 with 7 to see if the problem follows the injector.

Not sure but I have read it can be so many different things.

Thanks
