7.3l oil pan

my oil pan is leaking but i was told that i have to pull the motor out to fix it, is this true? also gear oil ileaking out of the back of the front end, how do i fix that?

ive done the oil pan reseal in the truck and out , no harder than it is to pull and motor on a 7.3 , pull it out and do it right , you take a chance of not getting it sealed correctly doing it in the vehicle ,trust me you only want to do that job once , and only use the correct silicone from ford that is made just for that application, or it will leak
