Water pump and pulley

Pretty soon here im going to be changing my water pump and pulley. My belt squeaks like crazy and u can see the belt ride up and bump the edge of the pulley on the water pump making it squeak. I figure i will throw a new water pump on while i have it all apart. The only problem is i can't find the water pump pulley anywhere online? they want 70$ at a ford dealership so i might have to go with that unless someone knows of a place to get one? if so please let me know

if the water pump is bad ,do you think the puley would be fine after the pump was replaced , the pulleys just dont go bad , tensioners cause belt squeak alot also

Im not sure if the water pump is bad or not. it was replaced at 36k and the truck now has 149k. Its just that i can see the belt "wabbling" but only as it goes towards the water pump pulley. i replaced the idler pulley. maybe i will try replacing the tensioners first.

in all honesty , the tensioner is usuall sittin a little crooked and causing a squeal , on 9 out of ten trucks , did two last week,so i believe i would try that first , alot cheaper 2

the whole tensioner setup, the pullets are fine its the tensioner itself that usually gets out of whack

Good point, and if left unchecked, it turns into a belt eater.
