Raise SPEED LIM

When I went to install my new Superchips 1705 in "Tow-Safe" mode it ask if I wanted to raise the "SPEED LIM" what is this & will it do any harm to my stock truck if I raise it?

It will not do any harm..It will raise the speed at which your truck will not go any faster...IE top end...94.5mph+
