7.3L glowplug timer?

Hey guys, I'm haveing trouble with my 2001 F-250 7.3L diesel. I changed out all 8 glowplugs and I still have trouble starting sometimes. Sometimes it starts up right away after the "wait to start" light goes out, and other times it doesn't want to start at all. It isn't very cold out and when I plug it in it starts up every time. Is there a glowplug timer that is malfunctioning possibly?

Yeah

Very rarely do the glow plugs go bad in a 7.3. The relays go bad all the time. You can test it by taking a meter or test light and touching it to the drivers side stud on the top of the relay and turn the key one. If you dont have voltage there the relay is bad.
