Oil Leak
I have 95 7.3L
My engine is leaking oil out the side of the pan at the dipstick. I know there is a nut on the inside. It looks like somebody attempted to fix this before with Silicon. The mechanic said I have to pull the engine to fix this. That seems extreme to pull the engine for an oil leak. Does anyone have a qhicker less expensive fix for this type of oil leak. Old truck do not want to dump tons of money in it. Thanks in advance.
