I have an '02 F350 7.3. After just having the rotted oil pan replaced and all the leaks from the top of the motor fixed; I just found that my oil cooler tube has rotted out, as well!... Nice new puddle on the garage floor this morning!
The truck has only 50k on it and these rotting parts are adding up in price!
Is this something I can do in my own shop, or is it too difficult? (I've done most of my own mechanical work for over 20 yrs, but have limited diesel knowledge). If so, Any Idea of where best to get the parts, and maybe some tech info?
I just can't afford, again... been there twice in the last 6 weeks!!!
