i have 2 1992 7.3 non-turboed trucks and after the glow plugs heat up and the wait to start light goes off it sounds like the relay keeps clicking on both trucks. is this normal?

pretty sure it is. IIRC my parents old 92 7.3 idi and 94 turbo idi both did the same.

the one truck i bought tonight, someone hacked off the block heater end so i couldnt plug it in, and we kept cycling the glow plugs to get it to start (which it didnt because its like -5 degrees here) but i wanted to check to see if that was normal before i pick it up tomarrow. thanks
