EBT tube broke

Well i did an oil change, power steering flush and was gonna clean out the ebt tube. Everything went great till the ebt tube clean out. My tube was broken about halfway. Can I drive it with the tube taken out. I cranked it up and it runs about the same just idling with the tube an sensor not hooked up? Do I need the sensor an tube? It has a miss when the truck is warmed up, seems like a spark plug that is not firing?

ya you need it. Its like having a bigass exhaust leak. At the very minimum, plug the port at manifold and get a 1/8npt cap for the sensor.

You need it. It effects the fuel mileage significantly. $35 at autozone.

has a tube that relocates the sensor to make the HPOP bolt easier to get to. Not sure if they sell the tube by itself tho.
