I'm about to lose it!

Ok I have a 2000 f250 7.3 with 270k. Didn't pay too much for it bc it has seen better days. I'm still having a no start cold or after sitting 8 hours scenario. I've had the entire gp, gp relay system checked and its ok, I had idm codes so I replaced that, I replaced #7 and #5 injectors bc #7 was dead and #5 was knocking (which is another story), I replaced cps, 2 new batteries, new fuel pump, oil change, new block heater element and cord, gps, rebuilt the oil cooler, and it will still not start and noone has any idea. The weird thing that most recently happened was after the latest injector replacement upon initial start-up, the truck ran better than it has ever run! Smooth, quiet and powerful and then it got progressively worse and the knocking came back. It seems like maybe my fuel pick-up reclogged after start up? Or maybe since the truck sat for almost aweek with the batteries unplugged waiting for the injector to come in (bc I'm too cheap to pay the core charge) that the ecu or another sensor reset itself? I can't seem to figure this truck out and noone can seem to help me here in daytona beach. It does start with it plugged in for a couple hours but its getting REALLY old. I'm planning on dropping the tank soon and doing the mods but I'm concerned about the knocking coming from the number 5 cylinder. I replaced the injector which made it better but its still there haunting me. I'm attaching a link to a video I just put up about what it sounds like and what the oil spout production is. Dont laugh, its a horrible video! Has anyone had this happen before? I'm just trying to see what my next step should be. I don't have a scanner and the truck is stock. Maybe ipr or icp? HELP!

Sorry guys, video is now public and yes the filter has been changed. No smoke either. Blow by is good as well. Thanks for the help!

Doesn't really sound much different than mine. Maybe the knock/tick is a slightly bent push rod, weak lifter. For that matter it could be your new CPS. I've read on here multiple times that someone had to replace their CPS 3-4 times in a very short period.

How is your oil pressure? You need an actual gauge, not the dummy gauge in the dash. Could be low oil pressure not pumping up the lifters.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm going to do the push rods soon and I've been hoping that's the issue and not rod knock. I had a cps and the dealer replaced it with a black one? Idk I just don't understand the running awesome after sitting for a week. I will try to check the oil and fuel pressures so I can eliminate them. You have a similar knock that goes away when unplugged?

sounds like mine. By chance, is the #8 an AD injector or AE? Mines' an AD. Thinking the 99-00 models came with 8-AD. My buddy's being a 01, has a very faint "tap" sound. I say its because its the l.l. injector.

What i found odd with yours though, is that, unless the #5 plug was still making contact, but the noise of the motor didnt chance any, when unplugged? When i unplugged each one of mine, you could tell, it sounded like it wantedto stall, then "catch" itself.

Yea I torqued all of them when I installed the number 5 injector. Its hard to tell with my crappy vid but when unplugging the injector the noise does stop. I do hear a faint helicopter sound at the intake which means push rod but doesnt necissarily mean its from the injector in question. Its so frustrating! Would a weak hpop give me the no start cold? Unless ita plugged in for 3+ hours it has no power until the boost kicks in which is weird bc if it was hpop it would be the opposite? Idk I'm no expert but its a head scratcher. Would a shop be able to hook it up to a computer to xheck oil pressure and all the parameters?

what the dealership would charge for diagnosing, might as well buy this...does everything an AE system does..(for most part).
