code help P1248
My truck had 3 codes in it today. P0603,P1248, and P0470. 0603 says KAM error, 1248 says turbo boost problem, and 0470 says ebp sensor malfunction. I have a new sensor for that one, but what is the turbo boost problem. I just installed a AFE stage 2 back about 2 weeks ago. I never got any CEL. So any one know?

I would look for any boost leaks. Check around all the boots and make sure your clamps are tight. Also check the line to the map sensor.

Although if you ebp sensor is bad or the tube is blocked that would cause low boost as well so start with that first

What kinda numbers are you seeing for boost Dan?

Well i just put my truck back to stock mode on the edge and i was seeing around 4-5 lbs when i get on it half way. That is where its always been in stock mode. It'll rubn about 1lb just cruising at 55mph. I also had major problems with my edge today as well. It reprogramed this other guys truck and now it won't let us change the power setting. It says vehicle mismatch. Any ideas on that one?

Well i replaced the ebp sensor and check all my clamps. The CAC clamps all looked good, no tubes had blown off. The only loose clamps where on my new afe intake. They were still on fine, but i got quite a few good turns out of all the connecting clamps. So hopefully between those 2 things that took care of the problem.
