Diesel leak??

99' f350 7.3 psd.Recently changed fuel filter and now i have a small leak that is running onto the intake manifold.Checked the lid and it is secure no leaks.It looks like i could be possibly coming from where the drail line comes out of the fuel filter? Just wondering if anyone has had this problem? thankyou in advance for any suggestions.

look at the drain tube. You will look from the bottom, front of the truck. The tube comes down on the passanger side of the front of the motor...and stops about four inches above engine crossmember about 8" to the passanger side of center....kind by the passanger exhaust manifold.....

see if there is any fuel leaking out of there too....if there is the O rings on your fuel filter drain valve are shot....

just did mine got a complete fuel bowl oring kit from dieselorings.com also did the ccv and hpop and turbo pedistal orings at the same time theyve got em all for cheap and fast shipping all easy fixes as well

Yes i checked the drain.I even opened it and closed it again just to make sure it was shut off all the way.The injector lines that are near do not seem to be leaking.I haven't had time to get a mirror down there yet maybe that will tell me more?

probally the orings on the yellow drain valve thats what leaks right there
