running like crapola, cold help me!

I picked up my truck tonight from the dealer , its about 20 degrees also,not plugged in. i have a straight pipe on it also. my dad drove behind me, and he sound it sounded like complete crap, it was sputtering, shooting air the whole nine yards,it does this all the time but i never went out in this cold weather, and the noise was bad, ive never tried to plug it in so i never drove a warm truck in the winter. is anything wrong with it? or is just EXTREMELY cold? please help me out thanks guys

well couldnt tell you without hearing it but 7.3's straight piped have a unique sound they do sound like theyre running bad all broken up and such "to the untrained ear us pro's know its the sound off raw power" and could weather will make it worse especially when the ebpv is engaged i wouldnt worry to much about it

well it was 15 below here on sunday and my truck ran just fine. You might want to change your fuel filter and run some power service in a tank of fuel. The shooting air part is probably your ebpv helping the engine warm up. its loud out the pipe.
