poor mileage, can't hear turbo.......
I have a 95 f350, 7.3, auto, crewcab, with extended chassis and a Hodges 19foot car hauler bed installed, with 103,000 miles.
I have a very slight trmble in engine at idle, with a vehicle on the truck and pulling a 18' loaded trailer I get 6.5 MPG. I was getting 10.7 MPG with the same load. I also noticed a slight loss in power and I don't hear the turbo spooling up. No smoke. Any help is better than no help. I'm heading to church and I'll check back this evening to see what answers I have. |

Start with the basics, filters, oil, fuel pressure. You may want to change the CPS if you haven't.

Have you pulled your air intake and checked to see if your turbo is binding or locked up? Might also check your up pipes for leaks....
