HARD STARTS AND MISSING

Hello to all, I am actually on this forum to ask a question for my dad who has a '99 PSD (I do not have problems because I drive a Cummins!!) Well if your still willing to listen he is having trouble with the truck starting whether it's hot, cold, or plugged in. When it does finally get running it stumbles at idle and sounds like it's missing at times. I feel that it maybe a fuel delivery issue like a bad transfer pump, Buts thats just my guess it could be something with the fuel filter or possibly a glow plug or a sensor or worse injectors? Any thoughts or suggestions would really be appreciated. Thank you

p.s. The truck is completely stock with no performance enhancements or guages

Thanks I'll let my dad know and see if it is something he has already replaced.

Stewy:

Please don't be sorry about the Dodge that is packing this Cummins power plant
They needed something stout enough to handle all this POWER from a REAL DIESEL!! :burnout
