fuel everywhere

alright so i did the FPR shim a few days ago and love it. the truck runs great, it idles smother and it had a better responce. Well about 20 min ago i go out to start my truck up and a smell fuel so i pop the hood and there is fuel sparaying out from under the plastic shield so i run and shut the truck off and pull the shield off and the cap that goes on the fuel filter bowl has the rubber seal pushed out so im thinking thats a pretty good guess to where the fuel is coming from but i was wondering what i have to do before i take that cap off and can i reuse that rubber gasket it it still looks fine? Or should i just go and buy a new fuel filter, cuz the new filter comes with all the gaskets doesnt it?

If you buy a new filter be careful if you get one from Auto Zone.

I just got a defective one & the replacemnt was also defective.

I just started a post on it.

Just go get a new filter you need to do it anyways. Maybe the new gaksets will hold the new fuel pressure.
