Ok here is my problem. My 7.3 idles extremely ruff, to the point where you have to keep you foot in the throttle to keep it running. When the RPMs climb above 2 g's it smokes.
I had got bad diesel that had water in it. I sucked the tank Dry with a transfer pump, removed the fuel filter, bled the lines, replaced with good diesel, pumped all the lines out, replaced the fuel filter. I have also replaced the IDM box due to a code in the computer, and also the cam sensor just in case. Yet nothing has changed. I am lost as to what else it could be, although I have a feeling everyone is going to say Injectors. Any help would be greatly appriciated. |

First thing Keep your old IDM cause their might not be a thing wrong with it...http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/ima...lies/smile.gif
Second Water is almost asa bad as air when it comes down to injector tips ..Water in fuel acually reaching the injectors tips to atomize can blow the tips apart ..My advise run a contribution test .. |
