E-350 water valve

Where is the water valve on a E -350. I have went through the hood, from the inside, and all I can find is the air filter in the front and the turbo in the back. I have tried tracing the water valve actuation cable and can not trace it under the turbo to find where it ends. Must be some trick??????

Thanks,
Mark

mine is on the bottom of the fuel filter housing. the cable goes towards the back but loops around towards the front to hook to it. i left the air intake resonator on my bench and plugged the tube where it went. make it a lot esier to change fuel filters

Are you talking about the dump for the fuel filter housing? If so, on mine the black t-handled pull is right there next to the crankcase and transmission dipsticks.

Is the fuel filter in the front, in the middle, under the air intake tube?????

If so how do you get to it?? I have taken off the air filter housing, but can barely see what I assume is the fuel filter. It is a round top with a star pattern molded into it. if this is it I don't see any way to get a filter in and out and cannot find the water valve on it.

that round part with the star is the top of the housing. you put a ratchet in the star to unscrew it and the filter will be under that cap. the water valve is on the bottom of that housing in the back. there is a black cable that comes off of it and wraps around near the transmission dipstick (on a auto trans setup). on my van there was a resonator assembly that made it a major pain to change the filter. i took it out and plugged the hole with a pvc cap where it went into the air tube. its a little louder but much easier to change the filter now.
